Caring for Your Wee Tartan Clothing
Our tartan clothing is crafted with care and designed to last. To keep your Wee Tartan pieces looking their very best, please follow these simple care guidelines.
General Washing Guidelines
- Machine wash on a gentle or delicate cycle at a maximum of 30°C.
- Wash with similar colours to prevent colour transfer.
- Use a mild, gentle detergent suitable for delicate fabrics.
- Turn garments inside out before washing to protect the print and fabric surface.
- Do not use bleach or fabric softeners, as these can damage the fibres and affect the colour.
Drying
- Do not tumble dry. High heat can cause shrinkage and damage the fabric.
- Reshape the garment while damp and lay flat to dry or hang on a padded hanger.
- Avoid drying in direct sunlight for prolonged periods, as this can cause colours to fade.
Ironing
- Iron on a low to medium heat setting.
- Iron on the reverse side of the garment where possible.
- Use a pressing cloth between the iron and the fabric for added protection.
Storage
- Store garments in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
- Fold neatly or hang to avoid creasing.
- For seasonal storage, ensure garments are clean before storing to prevent staining.
Hair Accessories & Bows
Our hair bows and accessories are delicate items. We recommend hand washing only in cool water with a mild detergent. Reshape and allow to air dry naturally. Do not iron directly.
